Mark Chou is VP, Growth Marketing and E-Commerce at Away, a modern travel and lifestyle brand offering beautiful, high-quality luggage at an affordable price point. Prior to Away, he led marketing and strategic partnerships at ONA and served as Managing Director of the New York Fashion Tech Lab during its inaugural year. Before joining the Lab, Mark worked in e-commerce strategy at Ralph Lauren, early stage investing at the New York City Investment Fund, and investment banking at The Blackstone Group.
Ramzy Ismail is the Program Manager at Techstars Connection, in partnership with AB InBev and ZX Ventures. He is an expert company-builder from the very early stages. Previously Ramzy was the Interim Managing Director and Program Manager at Flat6Labs Abu Dhabi, a $10M early stage fund and accelerator.
Sam is a seasoned and executive-level marketer who has worked with both established brands and emerging financial services brands. At Qapital, she helps consumers change behavior by building an emotional association with financial wellbeing. They have done many impactful influencer campaigns, serving as a great example of how Fintech can leverage the influencer economy. In addition to her work at Qapital, Sam is on the board of Camelback Ventures, a nonprofit that supports local, social impact entrepreneurs with coaching, capital and connections.
Pär-Jörgen (PJ) has some twenty years of venture capital experience under his belt and the scars to prove it having lived through the dot com days. He spends most of his time on Media and Consumer Internet, which is why he led Northzone's investments and serves on the Board of Directors of companies such as Spotify, Widespace, Bloglovin and Sourcepoint.
